Mission Statement
The mission of Delta Delta Sigma is to introduce students to the dental profession and provide a helpful environment for success in their pre-dental academics. The academic road to dental school is very difficult. Delta Delta Sigma's goal is to make that journey as attainable and easy as possible. By building a community of students with similar interests, we can work together and all achieve our goals by serving the community and inspiring altruism.

Diligence
Diligence is the earnest, conscientious application of one's energy to accomplish what has been undertaken. In order to become a successful pre-dental student one must continually work hard towards his or her goals, makes use of what resources and opportunities are available.

Dexterity
Manual dexterity is the ability to use your hands in a skillful, coordinated way to grasp and manipulate objects and demonstrate small, precise movements. In order to perform successful procedures, a dentist must be able to work with precision on an extremely small scale. Additionally, superior eye-hand coordination is critical to ensuring the safety of patients and the integrity of the profession .

Service
Service is the act of helping or doing work for a person or community. It is important that a well-rounded applicant is a person who participates in meaningful activities on your college campus and within your community. Dentistry is a service-focused profession and dental school admissions officers look for students who demonstrate their promise to serve the community throughout their lifetimes.
