Delta Delta Sigma aims to introduce students to the dental profession while fostering a supportive environment for success in their pre-dental studies. We know the path to dental school can be challenging, and we strive to make that journey accessible and manageable. By building a community of like-minded students, we collaborate to achieve our goals, serve our community, and inspire a spirit of altruism.

Dexterity
Diligence is the earnest and conscientious application of one's energy to achieve undertaken tasks. To become a successful pre-dental student, one must consistently work hard toward their goals, utilizing the resources and opportunities available to them.
Manual dexterity is the ability to skillfully and precisely use one’s hands to grasp and manipulate objects, performing small, exact movements. For a dentist, the capacity to work with precision on a microscopic scale is essential for performing successful procedures. Additionally, superior hand-eye coordination is critical to ensuring patient safety and upholding the integrity of the profession.

Service
Service is the act of helping or doing work for others, whether an individual or a community. A well-rounded applicant actively participates in meaningful activities on their college campus and within their community. As dentistry is a service-focused profession, dental school admissions officers seek students who demonstrate a lifelong commitment to serving the community.
